If I could give this special place more than 5 stars I would. We had an amazing experience both with our meal and the gallery setting. We had the privilege of meeting the artist and poet and speaking to him about his work. The exceptional service and delicious food were just the cherry on top of our visit. We won't hesitate to reccomend this perfect cafe. And we will be bringing our family by very soon. What a wonderful find!

Fairouz Cafe is a delicious and charming spot! We were welcomed by the cafeβs owner, who is also an incredible painter and poet. He showed my husband and I his works of art throughout the cafe while we waited for our food, such a pleasure getting to speak with such a positive and kind person. And the food was delicious. We ordered a chicken shawarma plate and a gyros plate to go. The chicken was so juicy and had a delicious flavor! It came with pita bread, lettuce, tomato and tzatziki or garlic sauce. The gyro plate was also excellent. We recommend you check them out, a truly authentic Mediterranean restaurant with heart!

Excellent food and the owner is an artist and his beautiful art is displayed throughout the restaurant. I recommend the tabbouleh and lamb shank and Mediterranean salad. Also the rose tea is refillable and very refreshing and delicious!

Loved this place. Very special decor and food. Had the mansaf and spanikopita. Also mint tea. The owner is an artist and loves what he does. I highly recommend for local Lebanese cuisine. San Diego is lucky to have many cuisines and this is one of the small amazing ones hidden in a strip mall. Enjoyed and bought some artwork. Read some poetry.

Fairouz is an absolute gem. The owner, Sahar, welcomed us with a warm, genuine smile and made us feel completely at home. The appetizers were excellent, especially the tabouleh, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The main dishes were outstanding, including the mansaf, eggplant with bΓ©chamel, and lamb, all rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. Dessert was a perfect finish, with the baklava and ghraybeh tasting incredibly delicious. Thank you, Hani, for the perfect service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, memorable Middle Eastern food.
